Inevitability of Peace

War is a phenomenon which occurs without reason. What provokes a person to violence? Entire nations unite together to protect themselves from another nation. After the war begins, then fearing loss of life and loss of property become realistic. Before this time it makes sense to avoid conflict, reach a compromise or find alternate means to handle problems.

War is a time dissimilar to any other occasion. People read "the Art of War" by Sun Tzu in order to become skilled at handling situations, yet a normal life has many options and ways to avoid becoming an enemy. In war enemies are clearly defined; whereas, in normal life people make a decision to become an enemy.

There are many ways to avoid conflict. Talk to people who are open and accepting to find peaceful resolutions. These relationships are beneficial. Perhaps competitive situations will arise later, yet every positive relationship creates happiness and good memories.

Caring provides a way to gain trust and comprise, to find it is possible for all parties to have some happiness when choosing to be an ally. Getting part of what you want is nice though understanding allows a person to have freedom creating an equal endeavor.

If a person chooses to be closed off or take an offensive stance before talking to them, the relationship will always remain intense and complicated. People enjoy complications and it is fun to debate a pressing issue; however, constantly seeking relationships with those who mistrust you will always be reacting to harm; instead of, creating proactive solutions as a team.

Negative statements can be dismissed. It seems the more someone struggles to prove themselves or change another person they become entrapped. Growing up, it unnerved me when someone called me cute. I was slightly spacey and my stature does not compel fear, yet it seemed insulting. Struggling against this statement only proved the statement, because it is true. After accepting the cuteness of my animated behavior I was able to release myself, not from what other people thought, from everything I attached to what they were saying. Then it was easy to motivate my self to go to school and provide the proof their assumptions (my thoughts) were wrong!

Getting locked into "have to" cycle is proactive to giving personal control to another person. However, every person has the ability to decide whom to obligate themselves. Countries relying on each other cannot do this and cannot do that. If they do this or that, rumors of an oncoming war are spread as a lesser form of provoking people onto desperate ground. It is obvious how independence: being self-sufficient and relying on your own people allows people to remain on dispersive ground it beneficial. In truth, peace is found by avoiding harm through personal maintenance. Self-preservation is natural.
