Creating Confidence

People think confidence is an attitude projected out to others. However, it is a reaction from others reinforcing confidence. People with low confidence want to appear confident. There are many ways to encourage real confidence. Encouraging people to give positive reinforcement creates confidence. Thinking positively to produce positive reinforcement creates confidence. After establishing an internal and external flow of good feelings it is easy to gain benefits.

There are many techniques to make an outward appearance a winning combination regardless of weight, age, gender or race. Confidence is a great tool. People who appear to have skills to achieve greatness are given opportunities. Think of a competitive sport. Someone lacking confidence generates a negative reaction. When they stumble or fall, the audience shutters and chatters. Someone projecting confidence makes mistakes and the audience laughs knowing they will get up and do well.

Someone who looks scattered and sloppy has to be number one, because they are given fewer chances. This eliminates time to harness skills. Someone who is groomed is asked to try again. People believe they have the capacity to do better. This is a sad truth in life. However, achieving greatness takes time, practice and dedication. A suitable appearance only fuels the ability to stay in the game while learning.

Components related to physical appearance are physical and mental. Performing at a personal best helps maintain a nice appearance and positive outlook on life. No one ever has to become someone else in order to be accepted. Yet, some people may dislike you no matter how good you look while many love you the way you are. This begins with inner confidence.

The tips in "Creating Confidence" improve the chances of hearing, "You will get them next time;" or "You will win," even when in fifth place. Opportunities should be taken with respect and understanding. Second chances eventually run out. Confidence is only a method to gaining time to perfect a skill.

Having an appealing appearance does not equate to sexuality or looking like a model. It is an aspect of caring about your self. Visually showing others you care about yourself makes them care about you. Not taking the time to look in the mirror is like giving up. People do not support quitters. Beyond letting others know you will do what is necessary to succeed, they should want to support your decisions. Maintain positive thoughts to communicate thoughts sincerely. Hearing good things creates a cycle of industrious, uplifting feelings.
