Nothing Wrong

At times, there is nothing wrong. In this world of psychologists and treatments, when does treating problems become a problem?

Frequently, I talk about opening the subconscious and dealing with problems; however, over-handling emotions becomes a detriment. Imagine a person becoming so awesome at the grief process they will never be hurt by anyone. They always walk away. Understanding the grief process assists in dealing with loss. Walking away from everyone and everything to prove you can is insane.

People throw around words like, "disorder," or "mutant." A genetic trait, disorder, is not always a flaw. It is like saying hair or skin color is incorrect. Disorders could be considered an advantage. People with brittle bone, such as me, are also agile. Asperser's is a natural advantage to rely on logic, not feelings. Seasonal Affected Disorder, higher response to environmental concerns. Staying up all night could function as part of living in the wilderness. At night, people build fires and make noise to keep wild animals away from small villages.

The only reason "disorder" has a bad reputation is people focus on curing cases with a higher degree of the disorder; in which, their lives are greatly hindered. At a lower degree brittle bones equals agility, health consciousness and posture. At higher degree brittle bones equals being worried about opening doors, because any accident can cause fractures. Other disorders may cause decreased lifespan, so it is inconvenient. However, I strongly believe any disorder is an advantage. With a lower degree of the disorder noticing methods of maintain health helps those with greater risk associated to brittle bones. People with brittle bones may want to build muscle to support bone structure, shield from damage and maintain correct posture.

Before science fiction came about, "mutant" is the modification of a trait through environmental or other factors. For most people it is a matter of being shorter or taller; modified eye color or something else relatively unsubstantial. Mutations are adaptations. If a mother came from a warmer climate and moved to a cooler climate; theoretically, a mutation makes the child capable of living in cool weather. Adaptation or mutation takes place over several years of adjusting to a new climate. How is developing a survival trait an awful or freakish event?

Addressing grief, because I got the book to support planed articles in the near future, over-doing self help or psychological treatment is a detriment. People will suffer loss or question their capabilities at some point in their life. It isn't avoidable; however, fear of loss and pain is another issue. The reason people grieve is to decrease chances of living in a false reality. Unable to accept life and acknowledge current concerns they fail to live to the fullest; establish positive relationships; maintain good personal relations, and plan for the future. In other-words, they are unable to build a beautiful, so they may live a long, happy life.

When someone is in a happy relationship with someone they love and loves them, there is no reason to grieve. A person willing to throw away everything and start over to make a new life is a digression. Protected from feelings associated with loss, they never have to worry about an eventual loss; however, they are harming their personal and financial status by "coping" with an issue that has not happened.

Another part of over-coping is frequently the best solution is to aspire to positive achievements. Keep working; keep going to school; keep loving, and keep living. All these meditation and getting in touch with feelings detracts from social experiences. Therefore, unless noticing an issue causes disinterest in life, living in the past, causing harm to self or causing harm to others you are fine. Self help may cause another type of depression, so stop thinking about the past. Cope with trauma later or when it is convenient.

It is amazing how many people try to fix a personal advantage or niche. A better use of time is to figure out how to take advantage of their unique skill or accept it even though it might not be as useful anymore. It is amazing when famous stars pay thousands of dollars to get treatment. They have friends, family, connections, money and love, yet they still want to fix themselves. After beginning treatment they start having problems with loss of friends and money. Treatment is not always the correct answer.
